Thom is a strategy consultant and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in developing multi-platform strategic plans supporting strategic communications, innovation, corporate governance, digital transformation, and partner relationships. In 2022, he founded Ledwell Strategies Inc., supporting a range of corporations, non-profits, and institutions of higher education with strategic initiatives.
During a decade-long career in media, Thom worked as a journalist, producer, editor, and columnist for national public broadcasters in Canada and the United Kingdom before pioneering digital editorial roles with multiple media corporations in Canada.
A dedicated volunteer, Thom is the co-creator of a mobile application supporting victims of bullying called +Fort, sits on the Board of Governors of the Montreal-based not-for-profit Fraser Hickson Institute, advises non-profit organisations on communications and development, serves as a judge for national journalism competitions, and participates on selection committees for grants and bursaries.

Previously the Director of Canadian Programs at Equitas, Julie holds more than 15 years of experience focused on enabling organizations to seize opportunities and grow ideas and initiatives to scale. Trained as a human rights lawyer, she brings an equity lens to her work and is inspired when cross-sectoral collaboration happens to address local and global challenges leading to social change.
Julie studied at McGill University’s Faculty of Law, the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, and University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Communications.

Kelly Proudfoot is a seasoned collaborator, strategist, and event producer who has led national and international campaigns. She began her career with the Calgary Flames Entertainment Group (2000–2007) and later planned 189 celebrations for the 2010 Olympic Torch Relay. Notable achievements include managing an 11,000-kilometre bike tour with Olympian Clara Hughes and developing Beakerhead, a five-day arts and science festival drawing 130,000 attendees.
